Privacy Policy

Overview

Checkfall minimizes data collection. Core gameplay, settings, progress, free-play counters, and local launch diagnostics stay on your device unless you choose to use Apple services, view an advertisement, make a purchase, or contact support. Checkfall does not operate its own analytics, advertising-profile, account, cloud-save, or remote-diagnostics service.

Information Stored On Your Device

Checkfall stores gameplay settings and progress locally, including sound, music, haptics, language, modifiers, Daily Challenge state, Daily Puzzle state, Free Play counters, puzzle progress, earned customization state, and purchase-entitlement state made available by Apple. The app may also store basic local launch diagnostics such as app version and suspected unclean-exit counts. Checkfall does not receive these local records automatically. If you tap Copy Diagnostics, the app places a support summary on the clipboard so you can decide whether to send it.

LLM-Assisted Translation

Checkfall uses large language model tools to help translate app, App Store, and website copy. Translation prompts contain the product text being translated, not gameplay records, device identifiers, payment information, support messages, or other personal information from players. Machine-assisted translations may be reviewed and corrected before publication. The English legal pages are the authoritative versions if a translated description differs.

Apple Services

Game Center is optional. If you use it, Apple processes authentication, leaderboard, achievement, and related information under Apple's policies. Purchases and entitlement restoration are processed by Apple's App Store and StoreKit systems. Checkfall does not receive your payment-card details. Apple controls retention and deletion for information held in those services. You can review Apple's Privacy Policy and use Apple's privacy portal for Apple-held data.

Advertising

Checkfall uses Google AdMob for a Home banner and an optional rewarded ad. Completing the rewarded ad can refill the current day's Free Play allowance. Daily Challenge and Daily Puzzle do not require an ad. Ad availability is not guaranteed, and an unavailable ad does not interrupt an active game or grant a refill.

Checkfall requests non-personalized ads, disables the AdMob publisher first-party identifier, limits returned ad content to Google's general-audience rating, and does not request App Tracking Transparency authorization or IDFA access. Non-personalized and limited advertising can still require processing needed to deliver, secure, measure, frequency-cap, and report ads.

Google Mobile Ads and its partners may process IP address and IP-derived coarse location, device or app identifiers, advertisements viewed, ad interactions, app or product interactions, crash data, performance data, and other diagnostic data for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and service performance. Checkfall may receive aggregated advertising reports but does not operate a separate player-level advertising profile or directly sell personal information. Advertising-related processing can be treated as tracking, sharing, or targeted advertising under some laws even when the ad is non-personalized. Google's processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and the choices available for your region.

Consent And Privacy Choices

Where required, Checkfall uses Google's User Messaging Platform to present consent or privacy choices before requesting ads. When Google requires an ongoing privacy-options entry point, Settings shows Privacy Choices so you can review or withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent can change which ads are eligible or prevent an ad from loading; it does not block Daily Challenge or Daily Puzzle and does not interrupt an active game.

Unlimited Plays

The one-time Unlimited Plays purchase removes Checkfall's daily Free Play limit and suppresses Checkfall's Home banner and rewarded-ad offer while Apple reports the entitlement as active. It does not change data previously handled by Apple or Google before the entitlement became active.

Local Notifications

If you enable notifications, Checkfall schedules reminders on your device. Checkfall does not operate a push-token server and does not receive your notification permission status.

Support Messages

If you email support, Checkfall receives the address and information you choose to include. Support messages are used to respond, investigate issues, keep necessary business records, and protect the app. Do not send sensitive personal information. You may ask Checkfall to delete a support message unless it must be retained for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

Sharing, Service Providers, And Protection

Checkfall shares app-originated information only through the Apple and Google services described above or when you intentionally contact support. Checkfall selects service providers whose published terms and privacy commitments require protections appropriate to the service, and reviews material SDK and policy changes before release. Checkfall does not provide your local gameplay history to data brokers.

Purposes And Legal Bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, Checkfall relies on performance of the app and purchase contract for gameplay and entitlements, consent for advertising choices when required, and legitimate interests in app security, fraud prevention, support, and reliable operation. You may withdraw consent through Privacy Choices when that control is required and available.

Retention And Deletion

Local Checkfall data remains on the device until you reset it through available app or system controls, delete the app, or the operating system removes it. Deleting the app removes Checkfall's local app data, subject to Apple's normal backup and restoration behavior. Checkfall does not maintain a server account or server-side gameplay profile to delete. Apple and Google control retention for data they process; requests concerning those services should use their privacy controls and request channels.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent for personal information Checkfall controls. Because Checkfall has no player account or server gameplay profile, it may hold no app record that can be matched to you. Email ankgupta@protonmail.com for help. Checkfall will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights. Requests about Apple- or Google-controlled data must be directed to the relevant provider.

Children

Checkfall is a general-audience game and is not specifically directed to children. It does not knowingly operate child profiles or collect names, birth dates, or contact details from players inside the app. Parents and guardians should supervise device, Game Center, advertising, and purchase settings. If you believe a child sent personal information to support, contact Checkfall so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.

International Processing And Security

Apple, Google, and email providers may process information in countries other than your own under their own legal safeguards. Checkfall uses platform security controls and data-minimization practices, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Website Analytics, Cookies, and Forms

The Checkfall website does not currently run analytics, advertising cookies, or embedded forms. Normal web-hosting logs may be processed by the hosting provider for delivery and security. If Checkfall later adds analytics, forms, or marketing cookies, this policy will be updated before those tools are enabled.

Report An Advertisement

You can use an ad's AdChoices or About This Ad control to report it to Google. You can also use the Checkfall ad-report instructions to report an inappropriate or age-inappropriate advertisement to Checkfall.

Changes To This Policy

Checkfall may update this policy when the app, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected here before the related feature is released where practicable.
